I thought it would be good to share Sheryl's questions on English in an email to me yesterday. Just like how I've shared the riddles, now I'm sharing other info.

1. Bull in a china shop = an awkward or clumsy person / an inconsiderate or tactless person / a troublemaker; dangerous person
2. Dog with two tails (actually its "be like a dog with two tails") = to be very happy
3. Bear with a sore head = to be in a bad mood which causes you to treat other people badly and complain a lot
4. Lose heart = to give up / to stop believing that you can succeed
5. Cat on hot bricks = to be nervous and unable to keep still
6. Spilt our sides = to laugh a lot at something
7. Held his tongue (actually its "hold your tongue") = to stop talking
8. Put his foot down = decided on something and will not decide again or change his/her mind
