Hoildays are coming to an end, a new year is about to start, the end of 4Joy 2008 is very near :)

I'm back...New dates for outing

Hi all,
I'm having a fever after my scout camp yesterday. It's a good thing the outing was postponed anyway or else we have to postpone it due to me being ill!

So let's choose another date and venue. I've visited the animal resort last week and it doesn't have the horse and goat anymore. The rabbits, hamsters, iguanas, geese, chickens, swans, fishes and emu are still around though.

I suggest we go animal resort on either 24th Dec (Wednesday) or 31st Dec (Wednesday) at 9am in school canteen. Agree? Write in the comments whether you agree and if you are able to go, latest by this Friday ok children? Minimum 20 pupils and need a week to book the bus. Thank you.

Sad to say that we could not confirm a 20 pupil list to go for the outing. I sugggest we take time to coordinate again. Don't worry. Please call all your classmates to inform them.

About the visit to my house; you can stay & play my xbox or PS or my computer or some of my toys while you are there, BUT you have to clean up after that. 2 hours enough to see my baby & play some games? Do write in the comments.

Class outing

Hi all,
Is anyone interested in going to Animal Resort this holiday? I will rent the bus and we'll meet and dismiss in school. You just have to pay for your buns, animal food (to feed the animals) & packet drinks. It'll cost about S$4 and you could bring an extra of S$5 if you want to buy extra drinks or animal feed.

Next, my thanks for those who have taken the CDs and helped the teachers and me in the PE equipment stock taking.

Last but not least, here's wishing a happy birthday party to Jia Yi...:(

PE helpers

Hi all,
I'm cleaning and doing stock taking of the school's PE equipment. I would like to ask for volunteers to help me and some of the teachers. Please take a consent form when we meet tomorrow, IF you are able to help. I will need your help on Wednesday (26/11/2008) from 9am to 2pm (lunch is provided but please take your breakfast at home as you wll need the energy). I will only need 5 helpers. Please write your names under comments if you are interested or have any questions.

Please help to call those classmates to inform them about tomorrow's meeting. So far only Alvin had informed me of not being able to come. Any others?

Hi children,
How's your first week of the holidays? I love the holidays when I was young as it gives me time to do my hobbies.

My hobbies were building World War 2 aeroplanes, reading, doing puzzle books, playing toys and game consoles (I had Atari, Sega & Nintendo) which I played using the TV. Do remember at that time, computers were not for homes yet and of course internet was not heard off!!! I also played with my other six siblings and soccer with my friends. I went for scout camps every holiday, something that I've been doing until now.

Ok, about the meeting next Monday. I have to bring my son and wife to two different doctors at two different timings on that day. One doctor is for my son's medical check up and the other is the doctor to check on my wife. I hope all of you will be available on Tuesday. It will still be 11.30am at the canteen after the Maths Olympiad. Maybe we'll play some PE after giving out the CDs or go to Cyberhub to try the CDs :)

P/S Cassandra & Justin, please stop bickering. And Justin, I think you NEED a BL for something you typed. It's extremely BAD! :(

P4 Soccer Tournament

Hi players and supporters of 4 Joy,

Thank you all for the hard work and a good game during the P4 soccer tournament. We played hard, scored some goals, became angry at times but we all had a fun and JOYFUL day outside class...YAY!

The players and supporters did a good job trying their best AND nobody argued with each other...CONGRATULATIONS...you all earned the Sportsmanship award!

Don't worry about not getting to the finals, at least some of us went through to the quarter finals...there's always P5 and P6 soccer tournaments in the years to come :)
